I abandoned my efforts to produce a map of weekly participants in Google Earth once the Virginia participant count reached 146. Steve Palmer, KW4SHP, is now producing a much better map in much shorter time than I could ever hope to have done.
Steve's map is published each week at https://www.qsl.net/kw4shp/WinlinkWed/WWmap.html. The map is interactive, so be sure to explore it using the pan and zoom features to find a station of interest. Also, click on the "Help" button for tips on how to find a call sign based on the list in the left panel, and how to toggle between Virginia view and World view.
